Concebido como segunda residência, o imóvel deveria receber a cliente com a intimidade de uma casa plenamente vivida, sem perder a leveza sugerida pela paisagem. Khadine respondeu sem ostentação: materiais, proporções e luz constroem, em silêncio, a identidade do projeto.
Bege, creme e marrom estabelecem uma base serena. Sobre ela, madeiras, pedras naturais, tecidos e papéis de parede criam camadas e contrastes sutis. O mobiliário contemporâneo troca a rigidez por curvas e formas orgânicas, conduzindo o olhar entre estar, jantar e cozinha. B efore taking shape within walls, Khadine Schultz’s architecture began with a gesture. During childhood, drawing and painting opened a world of expression that would later expand into fashion before reaching the scale of interiors. From this journey came her sensitivity to fabrics, colors, and textures, along with the precision to transform beauty into an everyday experience. Technique and sensitivity move hand in hand.
At the Aria Reserve apartment in Edgewater, Miami, this synthesis unfolds with subtle elegance. Conceived as a second residence, the property needed to welcome its owner with the intimacy of a fully lived-in home, while preserving the sense of lightness inspired by the surrounding landscape. Khadine responded without excess: materials, proportions, and light quietly shape the project’s identity.
Beige, cream, and brown establish a serene foundation. Layered over this palette, wood, natural stone, fabrics, and wallpaper create depth and subtle contrasts. Contemporary furnishings replace rigidity with curves and organic forms, guiding the eye through the living, dining, and kitchen areas. Although integrated, the social spaces maintain their individual functions while speaking the same visual language. Each choice finds an echo in the next.
The view is far more than a backdrop. Visually light interiors allow the horizon to flow through the apartment and become part of the composition, like an ever-changing work of art. It is within this dialogue between indoors and outdoors that the project finds its most beautiful sense of pause: the city remains present, while the rhythm of the home slows down.

Her studio oversees every stage, from concept through installation, while closely following construction to ensure that technical adjustments never compromise the original vision. This hands-on approach made it possible to incorporate practical solutions essential to a residence occupied only part of the year.
The result rejects formulas and excess. Architecture, lighting, furniture, and art come together in a cohesive composition—sophisticated without feeling distant, welcoming without losing its sense of lightness.
